Guten Tag!
Hello to all of my friends, family, and future benefactors.

I am grateful to announce that I have been given a once in a lifetime opportunity to run in the Berlin Marathon of 2025!

As many of you know, running has been a lifelong passion of mine. I competed all through middle and high school, represented my college club team at FSU, and am now running as a member of the Matter of Fact run club here in St. Petersburg.

During my time as a runner, I have never had the opportunity to participate in a race like this. The Berlin Marathon is an event coveted by runners worldwide, and is subsequently very difficult to get into. By supporting me, and the cause I am representing, you will help me complete a globally recognized achievement.

The reason I will be able to take part in this race is because of a charity bid that I received from the Allyson Whitney Foundation. The Allyson Whitney Foundation (AWF) is an organization that provides support, aid, and awareness for young adults battling rare cancers.

One of the ways that the AWF raises funding for their cause is by offering athletes admission to races all over the world, in exchange for their efforts to help the organization. My goal is to raise at least $2,800 for the AWF by September and the marathon will take place on September 21 (there is a live stream if you want to watch your donation dollars at work).

Thank you all for taking the time to read this and support me. I look forward to sending out updates as I continue on this incredible journey.

Auf Wiedersehen,
Grant
