I’m so excited to be taking part in the 2025 Paris Marathon for the Allyson Whitney Foundation (AWF). AWF supports and empowers young adults battling cancer.

Contributing to this NY state based foundation, your donation provides young adult cancer patients with ‘Life Interrupted Grants’ to ease financial burden, so patients can concentrate their energy on healing. This foundation's goal is to shine a spotlight on the underserved demographic in the cancer community, young adults, who are in the gap between pediatric and adult screenings leading to a lack of research and awareness.

As you may have seen in the news recently, there has been a rise in cancer diagnoses in young adults in the USA. In the United States, about 84,100 young adults (AYAs) between the ages of 15 and 39 are expected to be diagnosed with cancer in 2025. Cancer is the fifth leading cause of death in young adults, behind accidents, suicide, homicide, and heart disease.

I’ll need all the help I can, so even if you can’t donate at this time, please share my fundraising page with your friends and family to help me get the word out there!
