Growing up, I always thought of cancer as a disease affecting mostly the elderly. But after losing two friends to it at a very young age, I was struck by how unpredictable cancer can be — and how fragile we all are. This realization has deeply changed my perspective on life and health.

Through this fundraiser, I aim to reach as many people as possible to raise awareness and support those battling this devastating illness. I feel incredibly fortunate that I am able to train, run, and compete. While these physical challenges push me, I am mindful that many others face much greater struggles every day.

As long as I have the ability to run, I want to use this platform to spread awareness, offer hope, and help patients in need. Every step I take is not just for me, but for the countless individuals fighting their own battles with cancer. Together, we can make a difference join me and the Allyson Whitney Foundation as we raise funds to help young adults fight and beat cancer!
