In December 2017 our lives were disrupted by our daugher Gillian's osteosarcoma diagnosis. We received unexpected support from several mission-driven organizations, allowing us to keep our lives as normal as possible, while focusing on her treatment and recovery.

On September 21, I will take a new step in my running journey, the 2025 BMW Berlin Marathon.

I'm able to run Berlin by raising funds to support the ALLYSON WHITNEY FOUNDATION, whose mission is to raise awareness for young adults with rare cancers. They provide young adults battling cancer with Life Interrupted Grants, so they can focus on healing.
