I am thrilled to be participating in the 2025 BMW Berlin Marathon while fundraising for the Allyson Whitney Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting young adults facing rare cancers. This cause is deeply personal to me, and I need all the help I can get. Even if you’re unable to donate at this time, sharing this page with your friends and family would mean the world to me.

**Why This Matters to Me**
A few years ago, I was diagnosed with cancer. I underwent four surgeries, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy. I experienced what it means to go months without eating, to feel relentless hunger and pain, to endure the sensation of my body burning. It was a period of immense suffering.

Throughout my journey, I found peace in running. Running a marathon, in many ways, is similar to facing cancer. Both are long-term battles that demand patience, time, dedication, and, most importantly, mental strength. There are moments when your body feels like it has nothing left to give, when a voice inside tells you to stop—but you push forward. Today, I am incredibly grateful. Grateful to run, to breathe, to eat. To simply be alive. And I’ve always believed that if I survived, it was for a reason. Now, I have the opportunity to help others like me—young adults diagnosed with cancer—by doing something I love.

**How You Can Help**
This September, I will be running the Berlin Marathon as part of Team Allyson Whitney to raise funds for young adult cancer patients. The Allyson Whitney Foundation provides grants to individuals aged 16 to 36, covering unanticipated expenses including, but not limited to gas, transportation, rent, medical expenses, fertility options, wigs, or integrative therapies.

Every dollar raised will go directly to the foundation to support these patients. Our initial fundraising goal is $2,800, but I want to take this effort even further. For more information about this project, you can visit their main page: https://allysonwhitney.org/

**Running with Purpose**
This marathon is more than just a personal challenge for me. It represents running in honor of every young adult who has faced or is currently facing a cancer diagnosis. It’s about carrying with me the strength of those who fight every day, navigating the uncertainty, pain, and resilience that this disease demands. I’m not just running for myself—I’m running for our dreams, for our families, and for the love that keeps us going.

I deeply appreciate any support, whether it’s through a donation or simply sharing this page to spread awareness. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me.

Thank you for being part of this journey.
