Run with Purpose at the Sanlam Cape Town Marathon!

WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS. It’s a high-profile event with global athletes, & media exposure; being an AWMM  * AFRICA is NOW a MAJOR!

This historic 2027 edition marks a massive milestone for running, officially introducing the SanLam Cape Town Marathon as the eighth Abbott World Marathon Major and the very first on African soil.

Your fundraising goal for 2027 is $2,500 USD with no registration fee.

As a runner, you know the power of perseverance, resilience and community. Young Adults facing cancer embody these qualities everyday as they navigate one of life’s toughest challenges.

Being a charity runner you will be supporting, empowering and helping young adults with rare cancers. AWF is an all volunteer based organization and your assistance will directly impact our pursuits that include Life Interrupted Grants, oncofertility,  and HOPE comfort bags and connect with global research.
